Outreach House

We committed to assisting people in the community of Nieu Bethesda and beyond through health, education and the arts. In 2019 we set up an Outreach House and study Centre in the village. Our aim is to help selected teenagers who matriculate or drop out of school and want to study further, but don’t have the means to do so unassisted. We are based in a rural area and access to suitable facilities are rare. We are currently starting with five students for one year of online study for a national certificate or a Diploma. The students did select their own courses, and are responsible for their own study. The Centre is providing them with computers, Wifi, and a place to study, as long as we have the means to do so, and the students comply with our conditions. The Study Centre will help these students, so far as we are able, to apply for scholarships and Bursaries to go to University and complete their studies.
